Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure Setting Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-1/2-D6-E-R-M-MPA, Numeric Part Number: 8232883

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by removing condensate and particulate while stabilising downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. It is designed for inline or front-panel installation and operates with compressed Air and inert gases to an Air purity class aligned with ISO 8573-1:2010. The device is suitable for environments between -10°C and 60°C and accepts G1/2 pneumatic connections, with a pressure gauge port sized 1/2 in.

Features and Benefits:

• 6200 L/min standard flow delivers consistent high-volume supply
• 0.3 to 7 bar regulation maintains stable output pressure
• 20 bar maximum rating suits high-pressure environments
• 40 μm element reduces particulate ingress to equipment
• Manual rotating drain enables controlled condensate removal

Applications

• Used with pneumatic tools requiring stable pressure
• Suitable for inert gas supply conditioning in plants
• Ideal for feeding high-flow actuator arrays
• Can be used for food-compliant compressed-Air systems
• Used for workshop Air distribution and control panels

What materials are used for the bowl and housing?

The bowl is polycarbonate (Makrolon®) and the housing is die-cast aluminium.

How is condensate handled and what capacity is available?

Condensate is discharged via a manual rotating drain and the bowl holds up to 38 ml.

What sealing and membrane materials are employed?

Seals and membrane are MADE from NBR and the separating plate is POM.

Which connection threads and port sizes are provided?

Both pneumatic ports use G1/2 thread and the pressure gauge port is 1/2 in.
