Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure Regulation Range, G1/2 Port Size - MS6-LFR-1/2-D6-E-R-V-MPA, Numeric Part Number: 8232885

This filter regulator controls and conditions compressed Air for pneumatic systems, maintaining a stable downstream pressure while removing condensate and particulate. It is designed for vertical mounting with a rotary knob actuator and is suitable for compressed Air and inert gases conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010. The unit combines a pressure gauge port and an automatic condensate drain to support continuous operation in moderate corrosion environments.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.3 to 7 bar pressure regulation range ensures consistent output pressure
• 6200 L/min standard flow capacity supports high-throughput systems
• 40 μm filtration size reduces particulate ingress to protect actuators
• Automatic condensate drain removes moisture without manual intervention
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard provides visible fluid monitoring

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool feed lines requiring stable pressure
• Ideal for compressed Air distribution in manufacturing cells
• Used with inert gas supply systems needing particulate removal
• Can be used for central Air systems with high flow demand
• Suitable for installations requiring vertical mounting tolerance

What materials are used for wetted components?

The sub-base and housing are die-cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate and Seals are NBR.

What temperature range can the unit operate within?

It functions across an ambient and media temperature range of -10 °C to 60 °C.

How does the unit indicate pressure to the operator?

A pressure gauge can be fitted to the 1/2 in gauge port using the G-threaded connection.

What level of condensate separation and capacity does it provide?

The separator achieves greater than 75% condensate separation and a maximum condensate volume of 38 ml.

Which flow and pressure limits must be observed?

The regulator handles a standardised flow rate of 6200 L/min and a maximum operating pressure of 12 bar.
