Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure setting range, G1/2 port size - MS6-LFR-1/2-D7-E-R-V-VS, Numeric Part Number: 8232895

This filter regulator controls and conditions compressed Air for industrial pneumatic systems. It maintains a steady output pressure across a wide adjustment range while removing condensate and particulates to meet ISO 8573-1:2010 Air quality classes. The unit is intended for vertical mounting and accepts G1/2 pneumatic connections, making it suitable for inline or front-panel installation where continuous pressure regulation and separation of condensate are required.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar regulation range ensures wide operating flexibility
• 4,500 L/min flow supports high-throughput pneumatic lines
• 40 μm filtration removes fine particles and protects downstream valves
• Fully automatic condensate drain reduces manual maintenance
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard provides clear Visual monitoring

Applications

• Suitable for compressed-Air preparation on production lines
• Ideal for instrument supply in pneumatic control cabinets
• Used with inert gas supply requiring particulate removal
• Can be used for feed to pneumatic actuators and valves
• Suitable for processes requiring output Air purity to ISO standards

What materials are used for parts in contact with the medium?

The membrane and Seals are NBR, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate and the housing is die‑cast aluminium.

What operating pressures are supported for safe use?

The device accepts operating pressures from 0.2 MPa to 1.2 MPa, corresponding to 2 bar to 12 bar maximum.

How effective is condensate separation in typical conditions?

The separator removes over 75% of condensate with a maximum collected volume of 38 ml before evacuation.

What connection and gauge provisions are provided?

Pneumatic ports use G1/2 threads and a pressure gauge port is provided with a 1/2 in thread standard.

Which environments and temperatures can it operate in?

It is suitable for ambient and media temperatures from -10 °C to 60 °C and meets corrosion resistance class CRC2.
