Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-3/8-D7-E-R-V-MPA-AS, Numeric Part Number: 8232908

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by combining particulate removal with consistent downstream pressure control for industrial systems. It is designed for inline or front-panel installation and suits compressed Air and inert gas supplies meeting ISO 8573-1:2010 standards. The unit operates across typical ambient and media temperatures and includes an integrated pressure gauge port for local monitoring.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar regulation range provides adjustable output pressure control
• 4000 L/min flow capacity supports high-volume pneumatic circuits
• 40μm pore size delivers effective particulate separation
• Automatic condensate drain removes collected moisture without manual intervention
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard offers Visual level check and impact protection

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool supply lines requiring stable pressure
• Ideal for factory automation Air preparation units
• Used with inert gas systems needing particulate control
• Can be used for machine feed where standardised Air purity is required

What materials contact the medium inside the unit?

Seals are NBR, the membrane is NBR, the separating plate is POM, and the bowl is Makrolon®.

How is condensate managed during operation?

Condensate is discharged via a fully automatic drain with a maximum condensate volume of 38 ml.

What mounting orientations are supported?

It may be fitted inline or front-panel mounted and is intended to be mounted vertically within ±5°.

Which pressure gauge connection is provided for monitoring?

A 3/8 in pressure gauge port is provided with a G thread standard.

What environmental ranges define storage and operation?

The device is specified for ambient and media temperatures between -10°C and 60°C.
