Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-AGE-D7-E-R-M, Numeric Part Number: 8232913

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by separating condensate and maintaining a stable downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. Designed for vertical mounting with a rotary knob actuator lock, it accepts compressed Air and inert gas and is suitable for environments from -10°C to 60°C. The unit includes a pressure gauge connection and a manual rotating condensate drain, with a transparent polycarbonate bowl for Visual monitoring.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar pressure range ensures consistent output pressure
• 4500 L/min nominal flow supports high-demand pneumatic lines
• 40 μm filtration removes particulates while preserving flow
• Manual rotating drain permits controlled condensate removal
• Die-cast aluminium sub-base reduces weight while retaining rigidity

Applications

• Suitable for machinery requiring regulated compressed Air supply
• Used with production lines needing particulate control
• Ideal for pneumatic control panels with high flow demand
• Can be used for inert gas conditioning in test rigs

What port sizes are provided for pneumatic connections?

Both inlet and outlet ports use G3/4 connections and the pressure gauge port is G3/4 size.

How much condensate can the bowl hold before draining?

The bowl capacity for condensate collection is specified as 38 ml.

Which materials contact the medium and which Seals are used?

Media-contact parts include a Makrolon® bowl, die-cast aluminium housing and sub-base, with NBR diaphragm and seals.

What is the maximum allowable upstream pressure?

The device is rated for operation up to 20 bar maximum operating pressure.
