Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure setting range, 40μm filtration size - MS6-LFR-AGE-D6-E-R-V-AS, Numeric Part Number: 8182824

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air and maintains a stable downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. It is designed for vertical installation with a slight tolerance and accepts G3/4 ports. The unit incorporates a transparent polycarbonate bowl for Visual condensate monitoring and an automatic draining mechanism that removes collected condensate without manual intervention. It is suitable for use with compressed Air and inert gases under industrial ambient and media temperatures from -10°C to 60°C.

Features and Benefits:

• 6200 L/min flow rate supports high-volume pneumatic systems
• 12 bar maximum operating pressure allows robust system safety margins
• 40 μm element delivers particulate separation with practical protection
• Fully automatic drain removes condensate without operator input
• NBR Seals ensure compatibility with standard compressed Air media

Applications

• Suitable for feeding production-line pneumatic actuators
• Ideal for integration into machine tool Air supplies
• Used with inert gas supply systems requiring pressure control
• Can be used for workshop compressed Air distribution units
• Suitable for food‑industry auxiliary Air circuits per supplementary notes

What mounting orientations are permitted?

It is intended for vertical mounting within a ±5° tolerance and can also be front‑panel mounted or installed inline with appropriate accessories.

Which materials make up the pressure-containing parts?

The housing and sub‑base are die‑cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate and the internal separating plate is POM.

How precise is the pressure control under fluctuating input?

The device maintains output pressure within a maximum hysteresis of 0.025 MPa (0.25 bar), ensuring stable regulation.

What connections are provided for gauges and ports?

Both primary ports use G3/4 threads and a pressure gauge port uses a G standard with a 3/4 in gauge port size.

What environmental classifications and conformity apply?

Corrosion resistance class CRC2, LABS (PWIS) conformity VDMA24364‑B1/B2‑L, and suitability for compressed Air to ISO 8573‑1:2010 as indicated in the documentation.
