Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure setting range, 40μm filtration size - MS6-LFR-AGE-D6-E-R-M-AS, Numeric Part Number: 8232910

This filter regulator controls and conditions compressed Air for pneumatic systems, maintaining a steady downstream pressure while removing condensate and particulates to ISO 8573-1:2010 standards. It is designed for vertical mounting within a narrow angle tolerance and accepts G3/8 pneumatic ports. The unit incorporates a pressure gauge port and a clear polycarbonate bowl for Visual condensate monitoring, Plus a manual drain for condensate removal.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.3 to 7 bar regulation range provides flexible pressure control
• 40 μm filtration size removes fine particulates from Air
• 6200 L/min flow supports high-volume industrial systems
• Polycarbonate bowl enables Visual condensate inspection
• Manual rotating drain allows controlled condensate evacuation

Applications

• Suitable for compressed Air preparation to ISO 8573-1:2010
• Ideal for pneumatic tool supply requiring steady pressure
• Used with control valves in factory automation lines
• Can be used for inert gas conditioning in test benches
• Suitable for food-industry systems with supplementary material checks

What are the permissible operating and storage temperatures?

The unit operates and may be stored between -10 °C and 60 °C.

What connection threads and ports are provided for gauges and lines?

Pneumatic ports use G3/8 G-thread and the pressure gauge port is 3/8 in.

What materials contact the media and how is corrosion addressed?

The housing and sub-base are die-cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate, Seals are NBR, and the corrosion resistance class is CRC 2.

How does the device handle condensate separation and capacity?

It separates over 75% of condensate, collects up to 38 ml, and uses a manual rotating drain.
