Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-AGE-D7-E-R-M-MPA-AS, Numeric Part Number: 8232914

This filter regulator manages downstream pressure while removing condensate and particulates from compressed Air systems. Designed for inline or front-panel installation, it is suitable for pneumatic control loops and instruments operating with compressed Air and inert gases. The unit combines a pressure control element with a transparent polycarbonate bowl and an analogue pressure gauge port, delivering regulated output for industrial environments within a defined temperature envelope.

Features and Benefits:

• 4500 L/min flow capacity enables high-volume Air distribution
• 0.5 to 12 bar setting range provides wide output adjustment
• 20 bar maximum operating pressure supports robust system demands
• 40 μm filtration size removes fine particulates from supply Air
• Manual rotating drain allows controlled condensate removal

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic actuators in production lines
• Used with inert gas control and distribution systems
• Ideal for Air preparation upstream of valves and cylinders
• Can be used for plant instrumentation requiring steady pressure
• Suitable for food-related machinery with supplementary guidance

What materials are used for the bowl and housing?

The transparent bowl is polycarbonate while the housing is die-cast aluminium.

Which thread standard and port sizes are provided for connections?

Connections use G-thread with G3/4 ports on inlet and outlet and a 3/4 in pressure gauge port.

What temperatures can the unit operate and be stored at?

It is rated for media, ambient and storage temperatures from -10 °C to 60 °C.

How is condensate handled and what volume can it hold?

Condensate is removed via a manual rotating drain and the bowl holds up to 38 ml.

What level of Air purity is achieved at the outlet?

Outlet Air meets an ISO 8573-1:2010 classification of 7:8:4.
