Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-3/8-D7-E-R-M-MPA-AS, Numeric Part Number: 8232906

This filter regulator controls and conditions compressed Air and inert gases for pneumatic systems. It maintains a stable output pressure across a wide adjustment range while separating condensate and particulates to improve downstream Air quality. The unit is suitable for vertical or panel-mounted installations and meets Air purity requirements referenced to ISO 8573-1:2010.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar pressure regulation ensures precise downstream pressure control
• 4,000 L/min nominal flow supports high-volume pneumatic networks
• 40 μm filtration removes fine particulates and protects valves
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard provides clear contamination visibility
• Manual drain allows simple condensate removal during service

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool supply requiring steady pressure
• Ideal for control panels with inline Air treatment needs
• Used for instrument Air supply with defined Air purity
• Can be used for compressed Air lines in moderately corrosive environments

What pressure range can be set and retained?

The controller provides adjustable output from 0.5 bar up to 12 bar with a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar.

How is condensate handled and what capacity does it have?

Condensate is removed via a manually operated rotating drain and the bowl holds up to 38 ml.

Which materials are used for components contacting the medium?

Seals and membrane are NBR, the bowl is polycarbonate (Makrolon®), and the housing is die-cast aluminium.

What environmental temperatures will it operate within?

It functions with media and ambient temperatures between -10 °C and 60 °C.

How does it conform to Air quality and material standards?

It is suitable for compressed Air conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010 and complies with RoHS and VDMA24364-B1/B2-L where applicable.
