MAX6639 Temperature Monitor & PWM Fan Controller


The MAX6639 series temperature monitor & PWM fan controller is designed to monitor internal temperature plus the temperature of an external diode-connected transistor or alternatively, monitor the temperature of 2 external diode-connected transistors. The fan control element of the MAX6639, uses temperature data to change the speed of up to 2 cooling fans.

Applications include desktop and notebook computers, servers, projectors and networking equipment.
