Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure Regulation Range, G1in Port Size - MS6-LFR-AGF-D6-E-R-M, Numeric Part Number: 8232916

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by separating condensate and maintaining a set downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. It is designed for vertical mounting with slight tolerance and accepts compressed Air or inert gas to the specified purity class. The unit includes an integrated pressure gauge and a manual condensate drain, and its materials and construction allow operation across typical ambient and media temperature ranges.

Features and Benefits:

• 6200 L/min standard flow preserves system throughput
• 0.3 to 7 bar regulation ensures stable downstream pressure
• 20 bar maximum operating pressure supports high-pressure systems
• 40 μm filtration reduces particulate ingress to components
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard allows Visual condensate monitoring

Applications

• Suitable for machine-tool compressed Air preparation
• Ideal for pneumatic control panels and valves
• Used with food-industry compatible auxiliary equipment
• Can be used for inert gas pressure stabilisation
• Suitable for inline installation in plant Air networks

What drain method is provided for condensate removal?

A manually operated rotating drain is fitted for periodic discharge of accumulated condensate.

Which materials form the wetted housing and seals?

The housing and sub-base are die-cast aluminium with NBR Seals and a Makrolon® bowl.

What operating temperature limits apply to storage and use?

Both ambient and media temperatures range from -10°C to 60°C.

How is pressure displayed and adjusted?

Pressure is shown on an analogue gauge and adjusted via a rotary knob with detent.

What level of condensate separation and filtration performance is delivered?

The device separates over 75% of condensate with a pore size below 40 μm.
