WEEE & Battery Recycling
The European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014 and Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2014 aim to reduce the Waste that arises from the production of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) and Batteries.
Our WEEE Registration Number is 00368WB
General
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries must never be placed in your waste disposal or recycling bins.
Take-back
WEEE is taken back free of charge at our Trade Counter on a one-for-one like-for-like basis within 15 days from date of invoice. There is a bin for small batteries in our Trade Counter.
Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge.
WEEE and waste battery recycling is free.
Pricing
For applicable categories of WEEE, we include in our pricing a contribution to recycling costs. This amount is stated on our website on the product details page, where applicable. These costs are stated exclusive of VAT in line with our other pricing.
For further information on any aspect of the WEEE Directive, please visit www.weeeregister.ie
